Beat AI

Rules and terms

Updated 7 October 2026. Beat AI is a free photography beta operated by Dominic Hill, trading as Beat AI. Contact: dominicedhill@gmail.com.

Who can take part

Photo exercises and guest voting are open without an account. Under-13 account creation and uploads require verified parental permission. The parent page shows whether verification is active. A child’s age choice, an email alone or adult verification without explicit permission does not grant access. Under-13 profiles stay private. Parent information.

Your photos and permissions

Use your own photographs, not AI-generated entries. You keep ownership. Uploading gives Beat AI a limited, non-exclusive permission to store, check, show and resize your entry for challenges, votes, rankings and the battle links you share. It does not give us permission to use your photo in unrelated advertising. Have permission from anyone identifiable in the photo; don’t upload children’s identifiable photos, private locations or sensitive information.

One active photo and five uploads per challenge day, including rejected photos and replacements. Deletion doesn’t refund an upload. Challenges stay open for seven days. AI scores are subjective feedback, not proof of authenticity or a guaranteed result. There are no cash prizes.

Content we prohibit

No child sexual abuse or sexualisation of minors; sexual acts, pornography or nudity; non-consensual intimate images or sexual deepfakes; sexual violence; graphic injury or gore; torture or severe abuse; self-harm or suicide imagery or encouragement; eating-disorder promotion; bullying; dangerous stunts or harmful-substance promotion; exposed child identity; body-shaming; terrorist propaganda; protected-characteristic hate; animal cruelty; serious criminal instructions; exposed private documents, credentials or addresses; doxxing; harmful impersonation; scams, phishing or spam. Do not evade safety checks, harass people, manipulate votes or infringe copyright.

Safety checks and removal

Uploads are hidden until they pass AI safety checks. We can block uncertain results, restrict suspected child-safety material, hide reported photos and remove rule-breaking content. AI can make mistakes. Human review is required for complaints and appeals; it cannot automatically override a blocked safety check or release a restricted child-safety incident.

Reports and appeals

Use Report in a battle or Report or get help from any page. Anyone may report a public link, a profile, a photo or a rights concern without having voted. Keep the reference you receive. You can also appeal an age restriction or complain about our compliance with safety duties. For a removal appeal, give your entry reference and explain why the decision should change. Do not resend harmful material. The owner reviews reports and records a reason. If you leave an email, it can be used to respond. Urgent child-safety incidents are handled separately.

Intimate images shared without consent

Use our intimate-image removal form, including for fabricated images. Provide the Beat AI location, a reply contact, your typed signature and a good-faith statement that you are the depicted person or authorised representative and publication was without consent. Do not send the image. We remove validly reported non-consensual intimate content as soon as possible and within 48 hours, and make reasonable efforts to remove known identical copies. A located photo and known identical copies are hidden for review immediately. Missing information may need clarification. Saving a report does not make an external police report.

Privacy and deletion

New adult profiles start public; under-18 profiles start private. Your nickname, entered photographs and scores are public even with a private profile; making a profile public also exposes its badges and photo history. Change profile visibility in You. Read Privacy before uploading. You can delete ordinary photos in You and request account-wide erasure or a copy of your data through Help. Restricted legal or reporting evidence may need to be retained.

Fair use and your rights

Use safe, lawful photographs and a nickname. You may stop using the beta at any time. Changes to these terms will be dated here; significant changes affecting your data or rights will be explained before the affected action. Nothing here removes legal rights or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Contact the operator about accessibility or a complaint.
