Turn the brief into one photograph

  1. Choose something available. A book, plant, cup, shadow or view can be enough when it fits the brief. You do not need to buy equipment.
  2. Change one choice. Try another camera height, distance or direction of light. Keep the comparison in your own camera roll and choose the photograph you want to enter.
  3. Check what you will share. Look at edges, screens, reflections and private details. Use a photo you took yourself, with permission where needed.
  4. Enter the selected challenge. Sign in, complete the account steps shown and upload your original JPEG or PNG, up to 25 MB. Safety checks and AI judging can be delayed.

Follow the first-photo guide for the entry steps and where to find an available subjective AI tip after judging.

What happens after you enter?

Approved photographs can face AI artwork in blind community votes. Voters choose the image they prefer, then see the human and AI labels. It is a preference vote, not proof that an image is authentic. Voting needs no sign-in, but a matchup may be unavailable while entries or the opponent are being prepared.

Find an available score and tip in You → Your photos → Try this next after checks and judging. Tips are subjective, and do not require community votes. Try one idea with a fresh photo on a later day; community votes depend on other people playing.

Keep practice simple

One photo can be active per challenge date. Each selected date has five uploads, including replacements and rejected uploads; deleting does not refund one. An older open theme has its own allowance. The beta is free to practise, with no cash prizes.

Compare two frames of one photo or try checking your photo’s edges before choosing an entry. Read the current entry rules, privacy information and parent guidance.
